Samyang Corporation’s Q One EASY TOMORROW Airing of New TV Ads
2019.05.08
Samyang Corporation announced on the 2nd that they have aired two TV commercials for their hangover cure product ‘Q One EASY TOMORROW.’
This new commercial was produced as a multi-spot advertisement using the brand’s original model, Hyeri, with actress Lee Si-eon, who had recently risen while on the set of the popular variety show, “I Live Alone.” A multi-spot advertisement involves producers creating a series of commercials for the same product and airing them within the same time frame. Samyang Corporation is strategizing to entertainingly deliver a young brand image to the commercial audience by using a male and female modeling team that work well together in the commercial series.
Launched in 2013, EASY TOMORROW is a pill type hangover cure product developed by Samyang Corporation. The pill consists of yeast extract and an herb complex extract, containing Hovenia dulcis, Atractylodes lancea, fruit of a Hawthorn tree, and Maranta arundinacea (Arrowroot) flower) that delivers fast-acting relief from hangovers. The product was created, having been focused upon optimizing both portability and intake by individual packing with three grams per serving. The recent two new commercials incorporated dialects and wordplay to communicate a more trendy image of the product. By having Hyeri imitate Lee Si-eon dialect, the commercial promote laughter among viewers while engraving the fact that yeast is EASY TOMORROW’s main ingredient.
Q One EASY TOMORROW’s officials explained their intention behind production, stating, “EASY TOMORROW has grown so popular to the point where one product was being sold every two seconds last year. We have decided to utilize Lee Si-eon as our brand model in order to expand our customer base to that of males.”
In accordance with the airing of the new ad, EASY TOMORROW is set to organize a giveaway event with prizes, such as travel vouchers, department store gift cards, and free EASY TOMORROW products on EASY TOMORROW’s official Facebook Group until the 19th. Event details can be seen on EASY TOMORROW’s official social media page.
EASY TOMORROW has also diversified its product lines by launching an EASY TOMORROW Stick Type with added mango juice for a more flavorful hangover relief. EASY TOMORROW Stick Type can be taken without water while its slim stick shape enables increased portability and convenience compared to the original pill type. Samyang Corporation Q One plans to actively market EASY TOMORROW Stick Type, both domestically and abroad, by distributing them in popular tourist areas, including duty-free stores and pharmacies.
